Corporate Catering in Dubai: How to Organise a Coffee Break, Buffet or Banquet at the Office
Over the years of working in Dubai, we’ve organised and delivered more than 1,300 events — from intimate buffets for colleagues to coffee breaks at large-scale exhibitions and conferences. The goal is always the same: food that complements the occasion rather than competes with it. Here’s how corporate and office catering service works with «Goose and Gourmet».
Coffee Break Catering: When a Pause Actually Means Something
A break between conference sessions can go two ways. People stand around with nothing in their hands, scrolling through their phones — or they grab a coffee, pick up something to eat and start talking. The cost difference is minimal; the atmosphere difference is not.
To order a coffee break for the office, you don’t need an equipped kitchen or waiting staff. «Goose and Gourmet» brings flasks of coffee and tea, cold drinks, mini pastries or light bites, and sets everything up beautifully. The team handles the table and keeps things tidy throughout.
When should you book a coffee break?
We usually recommend planning one for any event running longer than two hours. The earlier, the better. Here’s what our managers suggest:
2−3 days ahead — if you have up to 50 guests and don’t need a custom menu. We have ready-made sets for different occasions that work as a great starting point;
7 days ahead — if you want a fully bespoke menu;
2−3 weeks ahead — for large-scale events that require a tasting session and detailed planning.
Buffet Catering for the Office: No Seating Plans, Maximum Networking
The office party catering format most companies reach for first is the buffet — and for good reason. Guests decide when to approach the table, who to talk to and how long to stay. Nobody’s stuck in one seat for three hours.
«Goose and Gourmet» handles corporate event catering from 20 guests to several hundred. The organisational logic stays the same — what changes is the number of stations, the size of the team and the volume of food.
One thing that often surprises first-time clients: a well-run buffet is nearly invisible. Trays are refreshed before they empty. Dishes look just as good an hour and a half in as they did at the start. Staff appear exactly when needed without hovering. A poorly run one is obvious immediately — queues at a single table, empty platters, food that’s clearly been sitting too long.
Buffet for the Office: Ready-Made Sets
«Goose has only path» — 135 AED / guest, from 30 people. Seven types of canapés, nothing extraneous. Our go-to for business meetings and presentations — food that holds its own without pulling focus from the conversation.
«Goose Guevara» — 170 AED / guest, from 30 people. A richer lineup. Works well when you want to impress rather than simply feed.
«Make Goose great again» — 195 AED / guest, from 20 people. More variety, more interesting combinations — for events where the food is part of the experience.
«Geese» — 210 AED / guest, from 20 people. A hearty option for a buffet for the office that people will actually remember.
Banquet Catering: When the Evening Has Its Own Rhythm
A banquet is a different beast from a buffet — not in scale, but in format. Seated dining, course-by-course service, dishes brought to the table — the evening follows a deliberate pace. It’s the format for end-of-year corporate dinners, milestone celebrations and formal partner evenings.
For «Goose and Gourmet», there’s no meaningful difference between a banquet for 10 and one for 300 — the dinner runs exactly as you need it to. The team arrives hours ahead, sets up a full kitchen on-site and runs the evening from the first bite to the last dessert. We pace the courses around the conversation — if everyone’s deep in discussion, the next dish can wait.
Sets for Corporate Event Catering — Banquet
«The Goose of Man» — 450 AED / guest, from 10 people. Light starters, classic salads, a substantial main.
«The Goose Scream» — 600 AED / guest, from 10 people. Delicate and refined — a menu that doesn’t try too hard.
«Goose with a Pearl Earring» — 750 AED / guest, from 10 people. Built around what our guests keep coming back for.
«The Creation of Goose» — 950 AED / guest, from 10 people. European classics, reworked.
«Goose Father» — 1 100 AED / guest, from 10 people. The freshest seafood, wagyu beef and seasonal fruit — for evenings where every detail counts.
Can You Order Office Catering Without a Kitchen on Site?
Most office catering service requests come from venues with no kitchen at all — no hob, no extractor, no prep space. A meeting room in a business centre, a rented hall, an office with a mini-fridge at reception. This is entirely standard.
The team brings all equipment. The mobile kitchen goes up on location. We’ve worked in offices, on yachts, in the desert and on open terraces — the only things we need are a power socket and a bit of space.
Corporate clients also get discounts of up to 15%. Get in touch to talk through your event.
